I am the geek, really.
I read my f-list. It took me approximately two hours. Scary.
I am going to post about my week this evening. For now, I'll just say - wow, Run Wild updated!!! That's such a great surprise. And Caeria updated, too!!!
I mean, there were other updates, but these are something of a 'I've been waiting for so long...'
::hugs everyone::

Date: 2006-04-18 04:34 pm (UTC)I'm going to the post office tomorrow, to send you some Lost and music goodies. Lots and lots of watching and listening.
(*squee* I'm already reading the 2nd part of A Storm of Swords. My, isn't G.R.R. getting more and more bloodthirsty with every book?)

Date: 2006-04-18 04:57 pm (UTC)He is. And A Storm of Swords is so awesome it just hurts. I loved Sansa and Tyrion and Davos' PoVs :)
::rubs hands in anticipation for Lost and music goodies::

Date: 2006-04-18 05:15 pm (UTC)I like Tyron, but Davos bored me. But I like Beric Dondarrion. And Sandor Clegane. And Jaime Lannister. And Arya. Hmm. I do see a pattern here (except Arya, perhaps).

Date: 2006-04-18 05:32 pm (UTC)I am very fond of Jaime, dislike Arya immensly, don't care much for Beric.
I like Davos because I have a thing for Stannis and Davos/Stannis is the inexistent OTPI did not say that!!!
Besides, I am a Proud Member of Front Obrony Sansy ;)

Date: 2006-04-18 05:38 pm (UTC)Hmmm. My ships for now? Totally Jaime/Brienne. XD

Date: 2006-04-18 06:41 pm (UTC)Sansa/Tyrion is my OTP. I loved Catelyn, couldn't stand Arya and Jon. Buahahaha. The most liked characters of the series, apart from Tyrion, and of course I do not like them :)

Date: 2006-04-18 07:09 pm (UTC)I have mixed feelings for Jon. It's as if he's shoved down our throats, isn't it?

Date: 2006-04-18 07:18 pm (UTC)I don't want nothing shoved down my throat, thank you very much ;)
As to strong women - Catelyn ;P

Date: 2006-04-18 05:44 pm (UTC)What are these updated things you're talking about? Fanfic? *is clueless*
And I totally pwned you in that Potter IQ quiz...meaning I was marginally less bad. These lst questions were incredibly hard.

Date: 2006-04-18 06:33 pm (UTC)You did. But, I only read HBP once and couldn't remember Merope's name :)
::hugs again::
Caeria's "Pet Project" is awesome SS/HG (almost genfic so far, and it's so good!) and Run Wild's "Winter's Fairy Tale" is HG/SS story that hasn't been updated in 8 months and everyone thought it was abandoned. They are both very, very talented. To be found on www.sycophanthex.com => ashwinder. I recommend both.
Not "But You Alone", but worthy reads, nevertheless. Run Wild uses first person, present tense, and the speaker is Snape... And her Hermione is very realistic.

Date: 2006-04-18 07:08 pm (UTC)Have you tried http://www.the-archive.net/viewstory.php?sid=1515 ? I admit I only read a little bit, but it is post-HBP, stars Snape and is intelligent and good and well, snapesforte is just a great writer. I loved her "Taking Over Me".
