It was a very stressful and tiring week - begun with mock exam in Phonetics, followed by a mock exam in Writing, ended with a test in Latin, which I so failed.

And I have a end-of-term test in Literature on Monday. ( I'm bloody tired, that's what I am. )

However, some good news is here, too - my Mum is considering getting an Internet connection for home. That would mean that you wouldn't have to live some odd three months without me. Or I without you. This is but a possibility now, but Mum is being serious about considering Internet a useful thing to have. ♥

I think I'm falling in love with Alanis Morissette all over again. Not only is she a great singer and writes moving lyrics, she also makes it available to listen to many of her songs online, on her site, for free. ♥

And as it's Friday, it's also time for a fic recommendation.

I went for Uni at 7:45 this morning. Came back home at 6:45 PM. No, I haven't been having fun in town - I've had nine hours of classes/lectures and breaks were far too short for me to get home and return. Usually my Mondays aren't that busy - however, Professor Dickinson (http://www.shc.ed.ac.uk/Profiles/Harry_Dickinson.htm) is giving lectures this week and I went to one of them, which was on the subject of the British Parliament in the 17th century. I must say that the lecture was very nice indeed, and it's not every day that we are visited by such a scholar - and I was a bit disappointed with ridiculous number of students attending. Around 20. He came to us from Edinburgh, what happened to Polish love of foreign guests?!

As I am too tired to write anything more (that would require thought, that is), I'll just post two memes - another reply to the interview meme and the ship meme.
