I had no idea a death of a character could affect me that much - I feel so sad it's almost pathetic. I knew someone would die - I read a spoiler saying as much - and good for me, because that way I could prepare myself. A Lamb-centric episode, seriously. Who else could die, duh. I guessed it would be him by the eighth minute and was certain when he spoke to Wallace (a true friend of Dorothy's! ;))

I still hoped, though. I kind of would rather have Walt or Weevil die, how pathetic is that?! (not that we get a lot of either lately, right?)

Rest in peace, my somewhat witty, quirky, conflicted sheriff-who-didn't-have-a-Keith-Mars-complex-at-all. I'll miss you a lot, especially as you were killed by one of the most cruel weapons a scriptwriter has - plot device. You were sacrificed so that Keith could be Sheriff again. How uncool is that.

First Dean O'Dell, now Lamb. Are they doing it to me on purpose? :(

I'm pretty much lukewarm about Parker/Logan (another raped blonde in his life?) and grieving after Lamb, actually XD

I feel bad you are sad because I was so excited about the episode because it seemed like VERONICA MARS again. I was like "show I missed you!"

I do take Lamb's death as a sign that they know they are not coming back.

You know, you're partly right - and I did enjoy the episode. I also agree that I don't think they think they're coming back. And it just won't be the same without Lamb, who somehow grew on me so much that he became one of my favourite characters.

But it still annoys me that he died so that Keith could be sheriff again. :/

I guess it's a matter of perspective.

You can look at it as him being killed off so Keith can be sheriff or you can look at it as them bothering to actually do some sort of resolution with him, no matter now not great, instead of just writing him off with a line.

A lot of people loved or loved to hate Lamb... I don't think they'd kill him if they expected to go on.

Yeah... but there was an awful lot of foreshadowing all through the episode. Just a tad bit too much for my liking. And then five minutes later, Keith is sheriff, just in time to hear Mrs O'Dell :(

Then again, considering how much I've loved Lamb, I can't possibly be just about it ;)

Yeah. I guess I am just bitter because they keep my favorite characters around and do NOTHING with them and sometimes i honestly wish they'd kill them off so I could stop hoping and being disappointed.

True to the bone. Wish they had a better season to end with, though. Maybe the final episodes will do that, hopefully.

I am really hoping they end gracefully and that this was the beginning of wrapping it up nicely.

I fear it won't though. especially as they claim they are ending with stand alone episodes.
