I broke a tooth and it proved to be totally rotten inside. I knew it was in a bad shape but... Not that bad. This means a visit to the dentist and after my traumatic experiences with dentists I become hysteric in the waiting room. I'm afraid to call the dentist to make an appointment.

I know I should have dealt with the problem sooner, but a dentist is very costly. Unless one doesn't care for the lack of any painkillers. I care. Since that Doctor From Hell tried channel treatment sans any on me and kept me on the chair by force when I wanted her to stop.

And my old good dentist HAD to schedul her holidays now.

I hate my teeth. I want to have them all removed.

I'm reduced to a ten years old whenever my teeth do such things to me.

I'm so sorry! I can definitely relate to your feelings and experiences. I hope you find a good dentist who believes in laughing gas/nitrous oxide and Novocain and good drugs afterwards.

Not likely. If I want any drugs, I have to request them, and most dentists here believe one should be tough and just get little, because they are not healthy. Or some such. I'm probably going to make a scene and make the doctor give me what he has just to shut me up. Vive le Hysteria.

I won't even have to pretend. Last year I had a panic attack while making an appointment.

Poor thing. I can sympathize. I just had a dentist appointment yesterday. I brought my iPod. Not being able to hear what was going on made things a bit easier. Good luck. *mwah*

Last time it was months before my teeth was well again - because I had atypical channels and/or nerves inside my dear tooth. Now it's happily dead and I love it this way.

Oh no! I hear you on the dentist woes. I'll not recount my experiences, but suffice it to say that the dentist terrifies me and I haven't gone in five years. I hate it SO MUCH.
