How I Am Doing

1) Real Life
Cracow is cool. Crack!Uni has its good and bad aspects. I didn't exactly make any new friends, but my Thursday group is pretty cool, and on Tuesdays I get to hang out with an interesting psycho from another specialty, and we mock everything. Macrosociolinguistics is very interesting, literature... well, it's literature, and psychology is starting to get more interesting, actually.
As always, there's some family stuff going on; first and foremost, my grandparent's declining health, then my brother's problems at school... But for once, my sister seems to be happy with her studies. So yay her!
Of course, life wouldn't be the same without some cool uni!stuff going on - so, apparently this year, I qualified for social scholarship (God knows how, I suspect a huge fuck-up or something akin - I'm not going to complain about it, though). This, however, is hardly the reason to forget to let me apply for regular scholarship. I rocked my exams. My grade average qualifies me for the highest scholarship. And they forgot to add me -___-
I'm waiting for them to rectify that. Spent half of last Friday calling everyone responsible, only to hear that "apparently my grades weren't high enough," and had to force them to re-do the maths, with me hanging on the line to make sure they can divide small digits. Honestly -____-
2) Fandom
My decline into Buffy-related madness continues. I read whedonesque. I post to my own community about Buffy and Angel. I write ff, I re-watch episodes, read comics... It is madness. I start crying watching promos on youtube...
This season of TV, by series:
Heroes is kind of lame, this time around... Much as I like to see Kristen again, she should cut her hair short and look more kick-arse and less... VM season 3. I love Noah, apparently Sylar missed Mohinder (and this time I'm not going to hope he doesn't get killed).
Nathan rocks. That is constant. Hiro is cute, Ando is cool, but why does almost everyone behave like they only have half a brain per person? -___-
Bones now this is a TV series I continue to enjoy! The chemistry between the leading pair is amazing, the supporting cast is lovable (especially Cam!), the cases are interesting and the dialogue neat.
Also, I'd like to be interrogated by Booth, if you know what I mean (and you all do).
CSI - now this is an unpleasant surprise! Last season was tight, and started out strong. This time around, the cases fail to get my attention at all, the interpersonal relations are boring, only Grissom remains awesome. And speaking of awesome...
How I Met Your Mother is a TV series that I started watching for Alyson Hannigan (and Alexis Denisof's cameo) but now it's all about Neil Patrick Harris. His character is amusing, his performance is pleasant to the eye, and yeah, this series is already on hiatus due to the strike...
House M.D. - unlike some people, I'm really enjoying this season. I want more Chase as much as anyone, but well, it's always been about Hugh Laurie for me... And he looks good. As ever. I like the new cases, Wilson kicks arse, and Kutner is fun.
Dexter - I'm not up to date on this one, but I think I like second series better. The Lundy subplot is nice, and I loveDarlaRita. Layla or whatever her name is spelled like should die, though.
Grey's Anatomy - there was SETH GREEN!!! And I love Cristina. And Alex. And Callie. And if they'd only cut out each and every scene in which George and Izzie do anything, it would be really nice.
Also, I really hate Ava.
Supernatural - I'm very aggravated by recent gross factor and gore... And there are but two reasons why I still watch it:
1) my flist writes good fanfic,
2) I like Bela very much.
Private Practice - it's getting better and better, plot-wise, but I'm so losing my liking for Addison. Now I prefer Violet very much, oh yes. I loved the actress in Things You Can Tell Just Looking at Her.
Desperate Housewives - it's a pity only Bree's subplot and the mystery of the year look nice this year. Gaby is being stupid, Lynette's plot is boring... Nathan Fillion and Kyle McLachlan - thank you for joining the cast.
