And I am really pissed off, that's what I am, so I do intend to say things. Like, unpleasant things. Rant. use swearwords, which is rare for me.

Hello. A party that consider themselves right-wing, and are in fact wingless, also known as PiS (almost as bad as S.P.E.W, at least for those Poles who speak English) - Prawo i Sprawiedliwość = Law&Justice, not necessarily a Special Victims Unit, although I already feel like a victim - won the election. Three percent more votes than PO, Platforma Obywatelska = I ain't got no idea how they would translate it but mentions citizens for sure - central-to-the-right-accused-of-being-liberal party.
Why is that bullshit? Because in Poland THERE IS NO LIBERAL PARTY!!! None at all. Perhaps you could stretch the definition to include the left-wing parties, but one of them is so corrupted it boggles one's mind and the other ain;t got no power or support, and no wonder considering their PR. Or you could call central-to-the-right party Demokraci.pl liberal, but their support can be included within the statistical mistake borders.
And my dears - would you call a party that is not suggesting legalizing gay marriage, abortion or euthanasia, is not for ending with welfare state and only dares say that Poland is for all our citizens as well as migrates, that there should be equal right for all and this includes equal taxes and that no person should face discrimination because of sexual orientation, sex or skin colour or eye colour or hair colour, or lack thereof - LIBERAL?. My, that's so liberal! I thought that was normally considered right-wing and normal...
Oh. PO also dares say parties shouldn't take many from the state budget - and are the only party that doesn't take MY FECKING MONEY to print THEIR FECKING POSTERS.
Now let me tell you a story of PiS's winning the election. And please, do read - so you can know why I can understand you, poor Americans governed by Bush. Or people who aren't poor Americans governed by Bush and are happy about it.
HOW A FRIDGE AND A TEDDY BEAR WON THE ELECTION
The two parties I am going to talk about mostly - PO and PiS - made largely the same promises. Morality back in politics, reform the governing style, honesty&gone!corruption. They also claimed to be willing to do the said reforms together. They called themselves partners - and the leaders supposedly swore not to attack one another's party during the campaign.
Oh yes.
PiS of course started by attacking PO - because PO's voters were like, the only ones they could really hope to get to move to their side. Oh, and the party that would have most votes - it was by then almost certain the two parties together would have a strong enough support to choose the Prime Minister - would have the most power. And their own Prime Minister - so it was most important for PiS to make PO lose.
And what did they start with? Lies, lies and more lies. About PO going to make killing unborn babies easy. About PO only siding with the rich. About PO going to make the taxes higher - and they named so absurd numbers they should have just made fools of themselves. And this is where my beloved PO made a dire mistake - they were so shocked (my naive dears) took a long time before answering. And once they answered, it was too late. People were already convinced PO was liberal, for the rich. Going to make the tax on the toys and food higher. In the ad we could see food disappearing from the fridge and toys from child's room.
Actually PO wanted to be slightly lower the taxes on said toys and on electricity, but you can tell bullshit on the TV as long as it's bullshit that people are afraid of, for they will believe it. Scary.
The campaign of hate by PiS went on and on. And they won the election. But it was just the first round - there was another election in sight. Presidential election. And that was when PiS went so far even their supporters were dumbfounded for a while.
Mr KURSKI - remember the name, is going to reappear in this tale of lost hopes, love and betrayal - went for an argument that was far below the navel. Actually, that went two generations back in time. He claimed that Tusk's (PO's candidate for the president) grandfather willingly went to Wehrmacht.
Then Tusk said that it was a lie.
Then Kurski answered - I'm so sorry, that was a mistake, it wasn't Tusk's grandfather but said grandfathers own blood brother.
Then PiS threw Kurski out.
Anyone could see right through them, though. Kurski did what he was supposed to do and was then dismissed. The job was done. It was later proved that it was indeed Tusk's grandfather who was forced to be in Wehrmacht and who escaped and joined Polish army that fought against the Germans in World War II, but who cared about that?
And guess who thought up the teddy bear lies? Yes, Mr Kurski, the Wehrmacht guy!
Then much happened. Tusk lost the election. PiS decided to rather create an alliance with the populists than with PO. And they did it in the best possible way - they humiliated PO repeatedly, so that they could either agree to have no power but lots of responsibility in the government, or quit the agreement.
So PO quit.
And my country is ruled by the populists and the lying bastards from PiS.
And you know what is the sweeter? Kurski's punishment has just been lowered by the party from being thrown out of it to being given an official reprimand.
AN OFFICIAL REPRIMAND. He is going to cry himself to sleep.
Why change the decision?
"Because he didn't really lie as much as say one word too much." It's not a direct quote but that's essentially what a spokesperson mentioned.
Yeah. "Willingly". A fucking detail. Not to mention another fact - and who the hell should care what Tusk's grandpa did? When Tusk wasn't even born?
I want Rokita to rule. I want some fecking morals. Give me peace, love. Peace, love. And bugger the bastard from PiS up their collective arse.
I don't feel Christian right now, I feel quite Old Testament.
