President Kaczyński, sadly.
Oct. 24th, 2005 09:06 amOh yes, as could be expected, the evil conservatist won.
What this means is:
- probably worse relations with Germany, EU and Russia. (Cuz Lechu will take his toys and go home offended whenever things don't go the way he wants them.)
- very boring speeches
And many more things I don't particulary care for, including somewhat worse attitude towards the homosexual. Just to top things, his twin brother thanked Father Rydzyk for his support during the campaign. Father Rydzyk is a nasty individual - a leader of a powerful pseudo-catholic nationalist movement that pretends to be uber-christian and is, indeed, simply xenophobic.
All this is very scary.
But not enough to excuse comments like ARDE's. Kaczynski is somewhat xenophobic, but he's not a nationalist himself, at least not to the extent he's shown in German media. And I daresay Germans should be particularly careful whom they call 'antisemitist' considering how numerous neonazi are there.
TUSK is MY president, no matter what.
And I admit it's a terrific feeling, to be able to vote.
