stephanie206 wouldn't have said better.
But - I really wish Heather Ledger had got the Oscar. I think his performance was simply outstanding. It is not often I am moved like that and he managed it with his awesome way of playing here. I never thought he had it in him.
And I've been thinking about Nicole Kidman's Disappearing Body - she is getting thinner and thinner - and maybe we, Muggles, don't know the whole truth? She resembles a snake, all tall and long and thin - maybe a curse had been cast?
And Nagini/Nicole is mother of a new snakefemmeslash genre? Teh new OTP?

I admit this is my guilty pleasure - I do not exactly watch the series, but I follow the plot in newspapers and see an episode, occasionally. Today, they did something they have not dared before - they killed a major character. Obviously, for the sake of his wife finally being free for others to take. Hurrah - I really dislike them both :)
The interesting subplot, however, is that between Girl and Boy. Let me summarise it (it is awfully funny, really):
Girl and Boy are flatmates. Boy is a slut; girl pretends to be a slut just as well to have sex with him because he is her twu wuv. She gets knocked up. Girl wants to have an abortion. Girl can't get the money and realises she does not want to kill her innocent baby and tells the boy. Boy offers her the money to have an abortion (boy is real rich). Girl says she does not want an abortion. Boy tells her he won't help her, then - she obviously tried to trick him into marrying her.
Girl loses the baby but gets thrown out of her Uni anyway (did not come to exams because of being in hospital). Girl's parents stop sending her money. Girl starts a new job but can't afford the Uni anyway. Girl gets involved with a Suicidal!Evil!Twin of her best friend's boyfriend. Girl fake-marries a Russian to afford the Uni. Her Twin!Boyfriend finds out and breaks things up. Girl becomes unhappy. Boy starts thinking maybe he ought to have treated Girl better.
Boy attempts to give girl lots of money sekritly. Girl does not want his money but they become friends. Boy wants more but bides his time.
Girl is still mooning after Evil!Twin, Boy moons after Girl (...lots of angst...), Boy decides he needs to earn her love again and stops being a slut.
Boy admits to the girl he still loves her. Girl says she does not love him and they can only be friends.
That's when we get to the funny part.
Girl becomes involved with Boy's Ancient but Romantic Father. Father asks Boy if he still loves Girl. Boy says - "no". Father tries to seduce the Girl. Girl treats him as her best friend she is in love with a bit but (for a change) keeps her legs crossed. Boy asks Father to stop it for his sake. Father does not.
Boy insults Girl every chance he gets because he is used to his Father's playthings and can't stand the thought of is Twu Wuv becoming one of them. Girl moves out of the flat. Boy drinks a lot and does not speak to Father any more. Father realises he had probably damaged Boy for life and decides to break things with Girl the day she decides to have sex with him, after all.
Am I the only one finding it awfully funny? I mean... honestly!
