I went to that page that does the contest for the most handsome man - you know, the one in which Orlando is massacring Rickman - and voted for Sean Bean.

I feel ever so evil and not-fangirlish :)

I saw "The White Palace" with Susan Sarandon. It was totally amazing. A fairy tale for adults, with very well-done sex in it. Susan earns a place on my personal list of favourite actresses.

Said list now stars:

#1 Sigourney Weaver - ever since I saw that film about gorillas :), some ten years ago. And it gets worse. "A Map of the World". "The Village". "Alien". "Copycat". :)♥
#2 Holly Hunter & Susan Sarandon & Kate Winslet - for obvious reasons.
#3 Selma Blair and Reese Witherspoon - the first one did the "goth" look so well in one of her films that I really started to envy her figure for a few moments. The second one has a nice smile.

Whereas the list of most hated actresses:

#1 Gwyneth Paltrow

But I just love her - both looks and the way she plays. She's so beautiful... These cheekbones and her totally beautiful smile... If I were a lesbian, I'd have such a crush on her - I mean, I have a tiny crush even though I'm not a lesbian ;)

No, I have not heard it - but "Every You, Every Me" is OMG, too. I actually watched the movie "Cruel Intentions" just because I heard it in the trailer :)

Where is that most handsome man contest? I have to go there and do something - anything! - to prevent the victory of Orlando Bloom. He's not even a real man, dammit! Just some puppy-eyed teenager fantasy. Rickman, on the other hand...

Sandra Bullock - I used to think she was great. When I was about eleven years old. 'Nuff said. Susan Sarandon and Kate Winslet deserve all the fangirling they can get, though. And I like Reese Witherspoon as well. She's cute - but not in the annoying way.

Susan is terrific, Kate is beautiful... and yes, Reese is very cute and just utterly likeable. I thought "Legally Blond" had to be utter crap... and yet it wasn't.

Well, it's true I'll almost certainly be less hot once I get his age, but his face is just not that ;)

I'm an Isaacs' fan myself. Voggo only appealed to me in LotR, all other films with him somehow mande no impression - Isaacs may be a gay crossdresser or a mechanic. No matter, long hair, short hair, black, blond... I can even live with his blues eyes, and I do prefer brown ones.

Screw the face (not literally!), though I think really is good-looking...that man could recite the Yellow Pages and I'd still be hanging on his lips because his voice is Just. That. Sexy. IMHO, it's the only thing about him that qualifies him for playing Snape in the HP movies - he's a great actor but simply too old.

Viggo Mortensen is yummiest when looking his usual self - much more than in LotR or anywhere else. But I totally agree on Isaacs. He's hot...though I prefer him without the blond wig :)

Hah, that's because my taste in actresses is fabulous :) Holly Hunter - she starred in "The Piano", which in case you have not seen, you must ;) Jane Campion's picture. Great one. Especially the music and photography.
Reese Witherspoon played in "Legally Blond" and "Cruel Intentions" :)

Michelle - I quite like her, as I do Jodie, but they never totally took my breath away or had me laughing my arse off ;).

Angelina Jolie is quite scary - there is something vampiric to her. And I've heard she gave her own brother a long kiss in public. On the mouth. I'm squeamish when it comes to even suggesting incest.

Oh! And she was totally scary in that film about a hospital when she played a sociopath...

Even as a straight girl, I think Angelina Jolie is pretty hot. Scary, but hot. So's Lucy Liu (did she ever appear in a decent movie, though?). I only seem to find actresses attractive that look very different from myself.

Once more, I have to agree with you - Holly Hunter was fantastic in The Piano.
