Tomorrow, I am leaving for the greener pastures, aka Home!Town, and probably won't be online for about a week. I do hope you shall survive, somehow. I am not going to - a visit to the Grandparents!

In other news, I have a new Flatmate. She seems to be nice and apparently spends lots of her time studying. That's convenient. I met her boyfriend, too (and was asked - by him - whether I am with someone. I live in an obsessed world).

The bank I have an account in is playing dirty - it changed the interest rate, just like that, and did not see fit to inform me about it. Good thing I read monthly reports carefully. They also made a mistake, took 5 zlotys from my account for some weird reason and then gave it back a few days later. They seemed so competent and nice in the beginning - now I am thinking I will be closing this account in the summer. Mum suggested we share her new one to avoid additional costs, and so that in case of an emergency I have instant access to more cash and I think I will agree.

Because my student's loan did not arrive on time (my fault, actually, did not manage to get some paperwork on time) and, this week, I am living off my cupboard (thank goodness I had it well-stocked). I am not starving, but I am nervous. Money makes me queasy.

Have a great Easter, or whatever you celebrate, or just a great week, if you don't celebrate anything at all.

Oh, and my ambitious plan for the break - read the second volume of Tom Jones. Read Tristram Shandy or Pride and Prejudice. Have a glance at my Latin at least, and another at vocabulary.

Thank you! ::hugs back::

I borrowed a Daphne du Maurier short stories collection from the library and intend to immerse myself in it.

Thank you, dear :) I intend to lazy about (other than do what I listed). I even borrowed a *gasp* romance novel from the library. /okay, so it's in English so as not to make it a complete waist of my time.../

But I will miss you! I do not know what I did to deserve you (or rather, I know I don't deserve you, but I intend to keep you anyway!)

In a few minutes I'll be off, too for an Easter visit to my mom, taking with me the least ambitious read ever. It's a chick lit novel bound in something PINK and SPARKLY and with a GOLDEN HEART on it. I shit you not :)

Have a great Easter, too!

I have just arrived back ;) In the end, I did not take the less ambitious read - I took the du Maurier short stories collection and an urban fantasy novel. But I intend to start the girlie read this weekend ;)

I am looking forward to hearing what the PINK SPARKLY GOLDEN HEARTY ... um, thing, was like ;)

Oh! And... that comment about my writing a couple of words in German had me giggling all through the weekend ;)

The sparkly thing was...harmless. As I expected it to be - this was chick lit after all. I've read better books of the genre, though. If you want to take a look at the pink sparklyness, click this: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/0141021500/qid=1145385982/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/302-6054961-4897625
