Feb. 15th, 2006 08:53 pm1. I am back, Thank God. It was a very, very bad two weeks, its three highlights being:
a) the meeting with
le_mru;
b) getting CDs from
dark_vanessa - my firstborn child, I remember :)
c) meeting my Best Friend Toothfairy. If only I was born a heterosexual male...
Let's just say I managed to get into an argument with my Mum (or in other words, managed to irritate Her with my improper attitude), with my Grandparents (about my opinion on teaching religion to schoolchildren) and with my Other Best Friend Hilde (about what is stupid and what is spontaneous).
I am so good at irritating people I care about.
2. Ice Figure Skating. Plushenko. ♥ 'nuff said.
3. Polish TV - no thanks for informing me in advance how that movie "M. Butterfly" would end. So fucking thankful.
4. I am killing Tom Jones, Paradise Lost and The Tempest, all at once. I have this ambitious plan to get them over with in a week from today. Fingers crossed?
5. I looked at my long Polish WiP "Wilcze Dni" and I still want to write it. And I wrote first words in a few months this week - I finally got started on this Karkaroff thing that's been asking for my attention for far too long.
6. I just got up-to-date with LJ-posts on my flist. I did not read all, but I looked at them, and it makes me feel better, for some reason.
7. I still don't have the bleeding linguistic results and my love for Professor Ż. is endangered. Wrr.
8. My software is playing dirty tricks on me. It's going to die.
9. And I looked back at my 'career' as a fanfic writer and realised - to my utter amazement - that the first piece of fanfiction ever was not Potterverse. It was actually set in the realm of the novel "Faraon". You Poles know what I mean. It was about the High Priest Whatshisname and Young Pharaoh's Mother. It was kind of, umm, romantic. And the PoV was Nile's. As in, the river in Egypt. I think I'm sick.
10. In other words - hello again, I missed you, dears!
